Then and Now - Thomas Webster, baker, 29 High Street, Quorn

This is a picture of Thomas Webster's baker's shop on High Street Quorn, at the end of the Banks. The older photograph was taken in the early 1900s and shows Thomas on the right, with his wife Finette standing in the doorway. The shop is now a house and is number 29 High Street.

If you look carefully, you can see the bread in the window.

More information about the Webster family can be found elsewhere on the site. The photograph in Artefact 1532 was taken around the same time and contains further detail.
