The Forge on Meeting Street during the 1930s
One of the most notable families of blacksmiths in Quorn were the Holmes and their forge on Meeting Street. The Holmes were blacksmiths in the village from the early 1800s and maybe before that. The business passed through the family for several generations until the 1930s.
