This view from the early 1970s is taken from what is now the Station Road car park, looking across Stafford Orchard.
The old primary school can be seen in the background on the centre right. On the left is the old lock up and next to that, the modern houses are in Dower House Gardens, which in the early 1970s was a brand new development.
