Quorn Mills Bowls Club, post 1931

This photograph of Quorn Mills Bowls Club has been sent to the museum team by Pam Hampson, a relative of Charles Percy Mee, who appears on the front row, 3rd from the right.
Front row, first left is Jack Winterton.

The cup has been compared to that in artefact 837, which is a photograph of Quorn Mills Bowls Club in 1931, and seems to show the identical trophy (the Hartopp Cup), against the backdrop of the same building. Sam Hallam, who is holding the trophy in the new photograph, looks older than in artefact 837, so the new photograph was taken later than 1931.
