Concert in Village Hall - 1963

Loughborough Monitor - 11th October 1963

Some of the children taking part in the Church of England Children's Society charity concert at Quorn village hall.

Front row 3rd from the left is Karen Thackray (nee Lister). Karen thinks that the girl to her right, (no fringing on her costume), is Margaret Barnes and that the blond girl on the far right, back row is Leslie Morris.

The girls all danced at the Jean Kent School of Dancing which held their classes in the Church Rooms.

Thanks to Karen Thackray for the additional information, all the way from Australia!
