St. Bartholomew's Church, Quorn

Looking a little stark in the old photograph, the yew trees now soften the vista. Note the mark on the back of the headstone second up from the right. It can still be seen today and although it looks like graffiti, is obviously a fault in the slate. The slate chuch clock face was replaced in 1964 due to its supports corroding and it now lies flat in the churchyard.
