William Teagle in Barrow Road

This photograph was taken in the very early 1900s (before 1906) and shows William Teagle with two of his daughters, Elizabeth (left) and Emma (right). It was taken outside the Gospel Temperance Mission Hall at 70 Barrow Road, and their home at 72 Barrow Road. William Teagle founded the Mission and the plaque can still just be seen on the wall of 70 Barrow Road today if you look carefully. Elizabeth went on to marry Sam Bailey and Emma married Jack Caunt.
